Simon Choi
Simon Choi is a third year International Business, Finance, and Chinese major at UW Madison. He expects to graduate in the Spring of 2012.
Simon served as the co-chair for the Finance Committee of Beta Epsilon Mu Colony. With the help of other Beta Epsilon Mu members, Simon really enjoyed raising funds for the organization. On campus, Simon is also involved in the All University Strings Orchestra, Korean American Student Association, and a social fraternity where he was voted the pledge class president. Off campus, Simon enjoys teaching children at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Madison as the Sunday school teacher and regularly volunteers as the praise leader. In his spare time, Simon likes to play soccer, guitar, and violin.
During his years as an undergraduate student, Simon has had numerous international experiences. Simon spent an entire summer in Seoul, South Korea interning for CSCAM, where he learned the unique South Korean business culture. Simon also spent three months in China where he took extensive Chinese language courses and learned how to integrate into a new culture as a foreigner.
Upon graduation, Simon hopes to be working in the international finance industry utilizing his multi-cultural skills. He believes that his ability to comfortably integrate into different cultures and his ability to speak three different languages will be a big asset to his future employer.
Simon hopes to get more involved with Delta Sigma Pi so that he can help other members really take advantage of the great opportunity this organization offers. Simon looks forward to meeting wonderful people and developing professional skills through Delta Sigma Pi.
