Courtney Vazquez

Courtney Vazquez attends the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a freshman, majoring in marketing. She is expected to graduate in the spring of 2013. Ms. Vazquez grew up in St. Charles, Illinois.

In high school, Courtney enjoyed getting involved. She was the vice president of National Honors Society and also participated in Peer Leadership, Student Council, Key Club and Student Guides. Ms. Vazquez also enjoys volunteering. She tutored English to children from Myanmar and also volunteered at an assisted living center in her hometown. She continues her volunteer work at the university, visiting an elementary school once a week to help students with their homework.

Ms. Vazquez worked for three years as a tennis instructor at a country club near her home. For the past two years she has worked also as a tournament director, where she schedules and helps to run a United States Tennis Association tournament. Ms. Vazquez hopes to earn a degree in marketing from the Wisconsin School of Business. From there, she hopes to get a job with a company in their marketing department.

Ms. Vazquez has loved her time with Delta Sigma Pi. She is happy to get involved because Delta Sigma Pi has so much to offer. Next year, Courtney hopes to run for an executive position. Delta Sigma Pi has definitely enhanced her college experience. She has only been a member of Delta Sigma Pi for a semester, yet she has already made some great friends. Courtney has learned so much about the business world from the many speakers she has had the opportunity of hearing, and is excited about her future with Delta Sigma Pi.
